Need a custom volume tier? All plans can be adjusted for usage-based billing. Reach out and we'll tailor a plan that fits your exact transaction volume and SLA requirements.
Billing should be as reliable as your API. Here's everything you need to know about how tlilo charges work.
Each API call that issues, redeems, transfers, or validates a gift card or reward counts as one transaction. Balance checks, webhook deliveries, and read-only metadata requests (such as fetching card details or listing campaigns) are not counted toward your plan limit. Batch operations count once per card processed within the batch, so a batch of 500 card issuances counts as 500 transactions.
tlilo never silently drops requests. If you approach your monthly transaction limit, you'll receive email and dashboard alerts at 80{c91f96d2ca25363dd70c6a8329cd9cb76a6d41fdb1332feec1be342f37022557} and 95{c91f96d2ca25363dd70c6a8329cd9cb76a6d41fdb1332feec1be342f37022557} of usage. Once you hit your cap, additional transactions are processed at an overage rate of $0.004 per transaction on Starter, $0.0025 on Growth, and $0.0015 on Scale — billed automatically at the end of your cycle. You can also set a hard cap in your dashboard to reject requests beyond a threshold if you prefer predictable billing over uninterrupted service.
Yes, absolutely. Upgrades take effect immediately — you gain access to the higher tier's limits, features, and SLA the moment you confirm. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle. Downgrades are scheduled to take effect at the start of your next billing cycle so you retain your current tier's capabilities until then. There are no penalties or administrative fees for changing plans.
Yes. New accounts receive a 14-day free trial of the Growth plan with no credit card required. During the trial you have access to up to 5,000 transactions, all Growth-tier features including webhooks, multi-currency support, and priority API endpoints. At the end of the trial you can subscribe to any paid plan or remain on the free Starter tier — your data and configurations are preserved either way.
tlilo accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), ACH bank transfers for US-based customers on annual plans, and wire transfers for enterprise agreements. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Invoices are issued automatically each billing cycle and available in your dashboard. If your organization requires purchase orders or net-30 payment terms, contact our sales team to arrange an enterprise agreement.
No. There are zero setup fees, onboarding fees, or integration fees on any tlilo plan. You only pay your monthly or annual subscription and any applicable transaction overages. Enterprise contracts may include optional professional services for custom integrations — those are scoped, priced transparently, and agreed upon before any work begins. What you see on the pricing page is exactly what you pay.
We respond within one business day and can walk through any scenario.
